Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet's Mosque, is a mosque located in Medina, Saudi Arabia, and is considered the second holiest site in Islam after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. It is the second largest mosque in the world. The mosque was built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad and is a major site of pilgrimage.
